August 16, 2012 - First Speakers revealed for the Global Superyacht Forum

June 13, 2012 - Global Superyacht Forum Launches Future Focused program

Backed by twelve of the most influential companies in the business, containing bite-size sessions and speed-networking events, and a stellar selection of panelists in the wings, 2012 will look at how far the industry has traveled, mapping the highs and lows we have faced, and how we can steer round them in future course. Since the call for change in 2011, we will be looking at how our actions have been effective in all areas of the industry, in particular focusing on three pertinent subject areas in our global market:

The Global Superyacht Market's New Business Plan
The Global Superyacht Market's New Ideas and New Thinking
The Global Superyacht Market's Next Generation

Beginning with a look at the structure of our market, on Monday Martin and his expert panel will be taking things back to basics and exploring the foundations of how we work and interact with each other. On day two, technology - are we maximising it's application to our products and the superyachts we strive to create? Surely there are more intelligent processes out there; if so, we will find them during these sessions.

Day three will call for more interaction and participation form you, our delegates, than ever before. This is your chance to represent your company and fellow players - coming together as one powerful body, we will spend the day freethinking, brainstorming, and pooling our thoughts concerning the next generation. What do our clients want from us, and where should we target our support and our business in order to achieve this? Our very positioning in the global market and the future of superyachting as we know it, hinges on how we move forward and where we choose to invest as a community.

The forum will again coincide with the Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS), from 13 - 15 November. Joining forces with the Superyacht Pavilion exhibitors on Monday, Superyacht Events promise to connect you with more agents from our industry than in previous years - and you'll have fun doing it, too. This year's social programme will give the sessions some stiff competition for the value and key connections you will accomplish, through our first 'speed-networking' event and a variety of evening activities. Let us put you in touch with that elusive delegate you need to meet.
